Professor Dr. Jamal Ahmed Bashier Badi graduated from Portland State University in 1982 with a B. SC. in Science with minor in Psychology. He obtained his B. A. in Da’wah & Usuluddin from International Islamic University of Madinah in 1986. He furthered his postgraduate studies in Madinah Islamic University and obtained his M.D. and Ph.D. in Usuluddin in 1990 and 1994 respectively. He is currently a Professor at the Kulliyyah of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Human Sciences, International Islamic University Malaysia. He has authored his first book: Creative Thinking an Islamic Perspective in 2004. He has written a number of articles published in both local and international journals and has also presented papers at conferences in the area of Creative Thinking from an Islamic perspective.
